AUGUST TBR

My wonderful time at home is ending in August and I am going back to the office on the 6th. To be honest I really don’t want to go back. Quarantine life is perfectly cut out for me. I started to pick up new habits and got to do more of the old ones. Like, I write a lot more and read all the time. I even started cycling etc. I don’t wanna give that up but money is needed. So, here I go.

I probably won’t be able to read as much but I also don’t want to lower my reading goals so I am aiming a book per week in August.

And the lucky books are :

Cercei : I bought this back in December or January but somehow I didn’t feel like reading it until now. I am considering reading the whole series I mean together with The Song of Achilles and The Silence of the Girls.

Blade Itself : I attempted to read this one a while ago, at the office as an e-book and it didn’t work. At all. I think I wasn’t even 100 pages into it when I gave up and decided to give it a proper read when it released here. It finally released and I am gonna read it as soon as I can.

Danza Macabra : Wanted to read this for some time now! Finally it was on stock again and I bought it without hesitation. Can’t wait to get into it!

In the Mountain of Madness : Been reading various Lovecraft stories for a few months now and I have a feeling that In the Mountain of Madness is going to be one of my favorites. Maybe even a five star? I miss giving five stars to books.

Not planning on starting a new the Wheel of Time book this month. Gonna take a short break after the Great Hunt (Which I couldn’t finish yet. Because I really can’t stand Nyneave) and switch genres.

I will definitely listen to some audiobooks on my way back home from work. It’s a 90 minute commute to work and back and I also listen while I ride my new, pretty, kinda hurts my butt bike. So audiobooks are certainly my friends. I am currently listening to the Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson I will also continue reading e-books but not at the office. Reading in the office is a nice time filler but I can’t remember anything about the book after a while. My current e-book is Vicious by V.E. Schwab and later I’ll start Fool Moon and continue the Dresden Files.

So, I don’t know how realistic it is to plan in these strange times, but this is how my August looks like.
