March! Not one of my favorites. It’s feels long, still wintery and a bit over-hyped with the beginning of spring and everything. (Yes, I am picky about my months) So here are some books I’m planning to read and make this month more bearable.
Malice: I started Malice in January but failed to finish it, so the first goal in March is to finish it and start Valor. It was tough to get into Malice at first, but when things click it flows beautifully. Can’t wait to continue the Faithful and The Fallen. I have a feeling that this series will be one of my favorites. Like, ever.
Rogue Protocol & Exit Strategy: I’ve read the first two books, All Systems Red and Artificial Condition of Murderbot Diaries. Although I didn’t love them as much as I was expecting, they still are fun and action packed novellas so I’ll read the rest in March and be ready for the fifth book, Network Effect, which I don’t have yet.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue: Finally, I have it!!! After waiting for a long time and surviving some shipping problems, I finally got it. Can’t wait to read it, but on the other hand I hyped it so much in my mind, I am afraid of disappointment. To be honest, I don’t know if it’s justified that I’m so excited about this book because this is my second V.E. Schwab book. I’ve read Vicious, which I enjoyed reasonably enough, but this sounds very different.
The Lightbringer – Through The Elder Stone: This was a book I never had in mind. Thanks to bookstagram and the book’s author Dael Sassoon, I came across it and decided to give it a read. It sounds fun, has elements like nordic theme and time travel. We’ll see…
Monsters Of Men: I gotta finish it. I am enjoying Chaos Walking immensely. The Knife of Never Letting Go was amazing. I flew through it. The Ask and The Answer was a great follower, although not as action packed. And now here I am at the end. I don’t want to finish the series, but also gotta see what happens next.
This makes six! Malice, Addie and Monsters of Men are 500+ pages books so they will take time for sure. It’s going to be a difficult but an enjoyable challenge for me. If I manage to read them all, March will be the month I read the most in 2021. Fingers crossed!
